Prove your humanity

Do you have a background in politics/economics/social policy? Can you turn longform academic writing into sparkling, concise blogs? Are you passionate about helping political ideas reach a bigger audience?

The Political Quarterly are looking for editors to create ‘Digested Reads’ – shorter versions of articles from our quarterly journal suitable for a wider audience.

We are looking for between 2-3 digested reads per month. You will be supported by Professor David Sanders and Anya Pearson, editors of the Political Quarterly blog. You will be paid a flat fee of £100 for each Digested Read, which takes approximately 3.5 hours to complete. The ideal candidates will be PhD students or early career academics with experience of editing, blogging and writing for the general public.

Could applicants please send a cv and a digested read of 800-1000 words from this article
